2025 Toyota Tundra vs 2025 Ford F-150

When you think of pickup trucks, one of the big names may come to mind, like the Ford F-150. However, the 2025 Toyota Tundra proves it belongs in the ranks with the longstanding models. This full-size, light-duty pickup truck offers capability and dependability while providing a comfortable stylish ride around Talladega, Alexander City, and Pell City.

Beyond Bare Bones

As you might expect, neither the 2025 Toyota Tundra nor the Ford F-150 load up their base trims with all the features. However, both models offer quite a few as options even on the lowest trim, such as a bed liner, running boards, and tonneau cover. All Toyota Tundra models have a double cab while Ford’s base trim is a regular cab. You will find quite a few standard amenities for either model, such as backup camera, cruise control, and heated mirrors. Keyless entry is standard for both trucks, but only Toyota makes keyless start a standard feature.

All Teched Out

Both Toyota and Ford provide advanced safety systems to help you stay safe on the road and off. The 2025 Toyota Tundra includes Adaptive Cruise Control on all trims, while it’s not available for the base trim of the F-150. Both trucks have Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist as standard for all trims. Cross-Traffic Alert is also included with every model to help when you’re backing up. Other technology is included on the base trims of these trucks, such as smart device integration and Wi-Fi hotspot. Only Toyota includes HD radio and satellite radio as standard features on entry-level models. While AC is standard on both trucks, only the Tundra has climate control on all trims. You’ll find it easier to reach a new destination in the Toyota Tundra with the option of a navigation system on any trim you choose.

At the Top

When you compare the top 4WD models of the Tundra and F-150, you’ll quickly discover they are both fully loaded. The main difference is in what comes standard and what’s optional. For instance, a bed liner is optional for both models while Toyota makes the panoramic roof standard on its Platinum trim. You can choose to add a tonneau cover to protect your cargo as a special option. The Tundra beats out the F-150’s Platinum trim for maximum trailering capacity by about 160 pounds. Both models give you the option of a heads-up display while the Tundra makes the heated mirrors a standard feature on this top 4WD trim. The list of optional features goes on for both the F-150 and Tundra to give you the chance to customize your truck to fit your preferences and lifestyle. Add as much luxury and convenience as you want while getting the safety and functionality as you need.
